The exhibition: "Epidemics: Curse of the Past - Threat of the Future" is a special exhibition of superlatives: almost 2,000 m2 of exhibition space, around 850 exhibits, 85 lenders from Germany and abroad! We are delighted that we were able to develop the accompanying app for this globally unique special exhibition on the cultural history of epidemics.

2021

We have approached this eerie - and unfortunately always topical - subject from different angles: there are exciting audio tours focussing on science, art and history.

"I'm impressed by how entertaining and easy to understand the app conveys such a complex topic."
Oliver Gauert, M.A., curator of the exhibition

We were also responsible for the realisation of the information terminals. Their content is maintained from the same editorial system as the app.

The integrated evaluation tool supports the continuous and of course anonymised evaluation of visitor interests.

If desired, a marker on the floor plan shows where the preferred topic can be found in the house. You can also search the extensive knowledge centre for in-depth texts and illustrations.

The house

The Roemer and Pelizaeus Museum is characterised by its important collections of ancient Egyptian and ancient Peruvian exhibits. It is also home to the second largest collection of Chinese porcelain in Europe.
