Schloss Fasanerie

Screen entrance area

The oldest part of the castle, which today forms the centre of the complex between the two high onion domes, has now been standing for more than 280 years. Over the centuries, what was once a small country castle has developed into a manorial complex consisting of several courtyards, guardhouses and farm buildings. Today, the castle is part of the Cultural Foundation of the House of Hesse, which runs a museum inside.
